About the Role:

  • Lead the Music department, driving forward an ambitious and creative curriculum

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across KS3-KS4, with potential for KS5

  • Support and inspire students through extracurricular opportunities including choirs, ensembles, and school productions

  • Work closely with SLT and other department leads to raise the profile of Music in the school



The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Music education

  • Experience teaching Music across secondary key stages

  • Proven leadership or aspiring leadership experience within a school setting

  • Passionate about engaging students in music and the arts
