Supply Desk are seeking SEND teaching assistants for a Special Needs School in the New Forest

Starting from ASAP on a long-term contract

Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 4:30

Friday 08:30 - 4

ÂŁ90-ÂŁ95 per day

Up to £19, 000  per annuum

Job Description:

    • Some experience with children with additional needs preferred (SEMH, ASC, ADHD etc)
    • Desire to work throughout Key stages (7-19 year olds)
    • Working with small groups delivering interventions such as Reading, Maths, Literacy, life skills and social skills or 1:1 with specific pupils and supporting their needs
    • Full time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
    • Location: New Forest – A car would be needed for this role

ASAP

  • Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent

Individual Profile:

  • A nurturing and caring nature
  • GCSE Maths and English to A- C grade
  • Experience of working with children/young people
  • Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
  • Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations
  • First Aid trained or be willing to be trained
