As a qualified Year 1 teacher, you will be expected to:
- Possess a valid teaching qualification (applications from Early Career Teachers are warmly welcomed)
- Have experience teaching young learners in a primary school environment, ideally within Key Stage 1
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate, essential for working with children
- Be able to provide two professional references to support your application
- Demonstrate strong classroom management abilities, excellent communication skills, and a caring, child-focused approach to learning
We're looking for a Year 1 teacher who can:
- Collaborate effectively within a team and actively participate in whole-school improvement efforts
- Uphold high professional standards while demonstrating dedication and reliability in your work
- Use your Key Stage 1 experience to confidently adapt to new classroom settings
- Communicate clearly and stay well-organised, fostering strong relationships with both pupils and colleagues
- Develop a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that supports every child’s progress
