Romano Education is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Lytham. The school is looking for a skilled and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with Autism and provide additional classroom support.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored interventions. You will need to be a confident SEN Teaching Assistant with strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

  • At least two years’ experience working with SEN pupils or in a similar role

  • A calm, empathetic approach

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service
