Merco Medical is seeking experienced General Practitioners for a locum opportunity at the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) in Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of GP experience and prior experience in a UTC or GP Out-of-Hours service.
Shift patterns include flexible weekday and weekend hours, with shifts from 09:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 21:00.
Pay rates are £81.55 per hour on weekdays and £88.10 per hour on weekends, paid directly by the Trust through Merco.
This role offers GPs the chance to work flexible shifts while supporting urgent care services in Shrewsbury.

Merco Medical is currently working with a valued NHS client seeking experienced General Practitioners to support their Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

Shift Patterns Available:

• 09:00 – 15:00
• 15:00 – 21:00
(Flexible weekday and weekend availability)

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years GP experience
• Prior experience in a UTC or GP Out-of-Hours service
• Fully registered on the NHS Performers List

Pay Rates (PAYE only):

• Weekdays: £81.55 per hour
• Weekends: £88.10 per hour
(Paid directly by the Trust, supplied via Merco)
