Job Title: AV Installation Engineer Location: Macclesfield (with overseas travel)Salary: £30K - £35K Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 16:30
About the Role:As an AV Installation Engineer you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of AV systems on superyachts and high-end residential projects. This role involves significant travel overseas, with plenty of opportunity for travel to locations such as Turkey, Italy, Spain and the South of France.
Key Responsibilities:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Installing and integrating AV systems, including screens, TVs, speakers, networks, and home cinema systems.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Marine-specific AV installation work, including working away from home for extended periods.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Rack building and system testing in the UK warehouse.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Attending service calls for residential properties within the North West where required.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Termination of various cables.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Working with systems such as Crestron, RTI, Wyrestorm and Lutron on an installation level.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Reading and interpreting schematic drawings for installation.
Essential Skills & Qualities:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Must have experience in either AV installations OR electrical installations (Ideally within a residential environment)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ability to terminate various cables.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally for extended periods.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Full UK driving license.
Desirable Skills & Qualities:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience in programming home automation or lighting systems.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Strong networking knowledge.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Knowledge of lighting control systems (Lutron, KNX, Crestron)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Electrical certifications or strong electrical knowledge.
Package:
- £30K - £35K salary (depending on experience.)
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
