We are helping our client to find a professional powerhouse to join this high-performing Wills & Probate team.

Please Note: This is not a junior role or suitable for a graduate seeking a training contract.   This is for an experienced Legal Assistant to specialise in the Wills & Probate support function and hit the ground running.

Your Role at a Glance:

As a key support to the Wills & Probate team, you’ll keep the wheels turning smoothly – providing top-tier secretarial and administrative support with accuracy, discretion, and professionalism.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Drafting legal documents & correspondence (audio-typing + word processing)
  • Managing client files from open to close – securely and efficiently
  • Delivering outstanding client care – both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Handling appointments, diaries, and meeting arrangements
  • Supporting fee earners and fellow secretaries
  • Mentoring junior and temp secretaries where needed

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Proven experience in a Legal Secretary role – especially in Wills, Probate & Estate Management
  • Fast, accurate typing and impeccable document formatting
  • Ability to do both copy typing and audio typing
  • Super-strong organisational skills and razor-sharp attention to detail
  • Confidence with legal software and digital case management tools
  • A professional, can-do attitude and commitment to client service
