We are partnering with a leading local business to recruit a talented Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.�? About the Role: #10345This is a key role within the finance function, supporting the leadership team with technical accounting, group reporting, and process review during a critical phase of change. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring robust group reporting, financial data accuracy and financial compliance.?? Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver accurate group consolidations for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
Assist in the preparation of financial accounting and analysis in line with IFRS/UK GAAP.
Lead and support elements of a data migration to internal systems, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and compliance throughout.
Support month-end close and consolidation processes across group entities.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and drive continuous improvements.
Produce ad hoc reports and analysis to support decision-making.

? About You:

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
Experience in group reporting within a complex or multi-entity environments.
Hands-on experience with financial data entry and/or systems accounting
Strong understanding of systems accounting, controls, and financial processes.
Technically strong with a good knowledge of IFRS or UK GAAP.
Advanced Excel skills and an analytical mindset.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
