Location: Sevenoaks, Kent, commutable from Croydon, Sevenoaks, Westerham, Kent

About the Role:

As an Account Manager, you’ll oversee key accounts, ensure outstanding service, and develop new business within established and newly acquired customers. Working closely with engineering, product management, finance, and marketing teams, you’ll manage quotes, monitor project progress, and drive customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve and exceed revenue targets through strategic sales initiativesStrengthen existing accounts while identifying and securing new opportunitiesDrive customer engagement to position the company as a preferred supplierProvide accurate sales forecasting on a weekly, monthly, and annual basisConduct customer visits, host meetings, and attend industry eventsDevelop technical knowledge of product offerings and company capabilitiesEnhance expertise in MRP processes to improve operational efficiencyOptimise profitability through strategic pricing and financial stewardshipCollaborate with product teams to ensure commercially viable solutionsChampion a customer-first approach, advocating client needs across the business

Profile & Skills:

  • Strong relationship-building skills across multiple communication channels
  • Ability to coordinate internal teams to achieve customer objectives.
  • Results-oriented with a strategic mindset and commercial awareness
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable approach tailored to individual client requirements

Experience Required:

  • Background in sales/ / technical sales within IT manufacturing, technology solutions, IT systems, technical sales, R&D, IT sales, PC manufacturing, medical equipment, or similar
  • Proven history of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to grow customer accounts and drive increased revenue
  • Understanding of displays, systems, and embedded technology (or eagerness to learn)
  • CRM experience
