Field Service Engineer - Power Generators - South of England - Up to £40,000 basic About the company We're looking for a Field Service Engineer who will be required to travel regularly to different locations maintaining and repairing generators varying from 40KVA to 2 Megawatts. This will include finding and capturing machine damage and keeping accurate and comprehensive service and maintenance records. It is also really important that you communicate effectively, ensuring that you are Line Manager and Customers are kept informed as required. If you have a strong Electrical and Mechanical background and hands-on generators experience, and you're looking for a collaborative, growing company to be part of, then this role could be for you!Field Service Engineer - The Rewards

Field Service Engineer - Requirements & Responsibilities
  • Must be experienced across Electrical and Mechanical disciplines 
  • Must have experience with diesel generators
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues
  • Flexible and self-motivated, you will be keen to embrace new training opportunities, which may on occasion require staying away from home
  • Great communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Customer-Focused with a commitment to delivering an excellent service
  • Effective planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A valid UK driving licence
