An opportunity has arisen within a well established engineering company for a permanent Factory Operative working in the Final Inspection Department. Reporting to the Despatch Team Leader you will be working 48 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 06.00-16.30 and Friday 06.00-14.30.

You will be responsible for the inspection of products and relevant documentation prior to delivery to customers, ensuring specifications and requirements are met.

Your main duties will include:

  • Visual inspection ensuring technical specifications are met
  • Dimensional inspection using go/no-gauge and Vernier Caliper
  • Performing conductivity and ultrasonic tests
  • Minor re-works for aesthetic purposes
  • Recording information and completing job cards
  • Recording data

You will be from an engineering/manufacturing background and ideally have some QC experience.
