We are recruiting a Factory Operative for a permanent night shift position in the Medway area.
The role involves using small hand tools in an industrial environment and includes duties such as processing parts and manual handling.
The working hours are 48 hours per week, from 6.00pm to 6.00am, Monday to Thursday, with initial day training shifts from 6.00am to 6.00pm.
The hourly rate is £12.36 during training and £14.21 after training for the night shift.
Previous factory experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

We are currently recruiting a Factory Operative to work within an engineering company to work nights on a permanent basis in the Medway area. You will have used small hand tools and be happy working in an industrialised environment.

Your main duties will include:

Processing of parts as instructed
Filing of castings/moulded parts using hand grinding tools
Shot blasting
Manual Handling
Moving boxes of castings around the factory and general housekeeping
Completing the relevant job cards

You will be working 48 hours per week, less breaks, 6.00pm to 6.00am, Monday to Thursday, however, initially you will be working the day shift for training purposes, 6.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Thursday.

£12.36 per hourly rate whilst training on days. £14.21 per hour after training for night shift.

Previous factory/manufacturing experience would be advantageous however not essential as full training will be provided.
