Role: Subcontract Manager - Complex Engineering / Regulated Industry
Location: Kent (Hybrid - 4 days onsite, flexible hours)

Are you ready to take the lead on high-profile subcontracting projects that drive innovation and impact? Our client, a global engineering organisation who's renowned for delivering complex, long-term programmes in regulated sectors, is looking for a proactive and experienced Subcontract Manager/Lead to join their growing Procurement Team. You will help to drive mission-critical programmes, managing the full subcontract lifecycle, and working closely with internal and external stakeholder as well as global supply chain.
As Subcontract Manager you will take charge of managing the full subcontract lifecycle for high-impact engineering and defence projects with one or more key subcontractors. You will work with cross-functional teams, lead contract negotiations, manage subcontractor performance, and play a key role in delivering mission-critical projects around mechanical, electro-mechanical and optical commodities.

What we're looking for:
- Experience in subcontract, project, and/or commercial management
- Background in highly regulated sectors such as aerospace, defence, rail, energy, nuclear, or other
- Proven ability to develop and negotiate complex contracts with customers or suppliers
- Track record of successfully delivering major subcontract obligations
- Experience in complex engineering or manufacturing industries
