An experienced Property Claims Desk Adjuster with managerial experience is required to join a global Loss Adjusters where you will work closely with a team of Desk Claims Handlers and Field Adjusters managing Property Claims up to £100k which could also involve Major and Complex Losses.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working with the Regional team you will help support a team of Desk Claims Handlers and Field Adjusters
  • Act as a technical referral point
  • Support Field Adjusters by accompanying on occasional site visits
  • Oversee the operational side of the claims handling ensuring the team are delivering an exceptional customer service and working to SLA’s, KPI’s
  • Act as a mentor to the team and be able to identify training and development needs

About you:

  • Experience in handling Property Insurance Claims including Major and complex loss
  • Proven Management skills being able to lead a team and provide support
  • A good listener with technical ability to help with any complex issues
  • Experience of working closely with Field Adjusters
  • Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal and face to face
  • Industry qualifications, working towards or a desire to study towards
  • Have the ability to travel as and when required to attend site visits accompanying your team of Field Adjusters
  • A full clean UK driving licence
