I'm working with a respected national firm that's looking to expand its presence in Kent by bringing on board a talented Senior Town Planner to join their dynamic and collaborative planning team.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded planner who enjoys a blend of project management, client interaction, and policy insight. You'll be involved in a wide range of projects including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments-supporting high-profile clients across both public and private sectors.

You'll be responsible for:

Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
Advising clients on planning policies and regulations
Managing projects from inception to completion
Leading on strategic site promotion and development plan representations
Mentoring junior staff and contributing to team development

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

A degree in Town Planning or related discipline
MRTPI accreditation (or working towards it)
A strong understanding of the UK planning system
Excellent communication and report writing skills
Confidence in dealing with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
A proactive, driven approach to business development
