We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to act as the primary technical liaison for customers, working closely with growers, suppliers, and packing partners to uphold the highest standards of product quality, compliance, and innovation. This is a non-site-based role with no line management, offering the opportunity to make a tangible impact by supporting both internal teams and customer relationships.

Technical Manager Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the customer-facing technical liaison, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams
- Maintain and update product specifications, due diligence, and technical documentation
- Monitor product quality, resolve issues, and communicate with customers and suppliers
- Conduct supplier, grower, and packing partner visits to support quality and improvement initiatives
- Support new product launches, packaging changes, and seasonal transitions
- Capture and report competitor activity, market trends, and technical insights
- Assist with customer tenders, documentation requests, and ad hoc technical projects
Technical Manager Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a retail customer-facing Technical role within Fresh Produce
- Strong communication, relationship management, and organisational skills
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Attention to detail, with a focus on continuous improvement and compliance
- Confident working with suppliers, growers, and cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of quality standards, technical specifications, and supply chain processes
