Description
- Processing procurement data accurately and efficiently.
- Ensuring data integrity by reviewing and validating procurement data.
- Supporting the procurement team with data-driven insights and reporting.
- Maintaining procurement databases, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.
- Working closely with other departments to align procurement strategies.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of procurement policies.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department.
- Adhering to data protection regulations and company policies.
Profile
A successful Procurement Data Processor should have:
- A minimum of three years' procurement experience in recycling, manufacturing, or engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inputting large data sets into MRP systems
- Strong understanding of stock inventory systems and procurement processes
- Essential knowledge of mechanical and electrical parts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A CIPS qualification is desirable but not essential
