Description

  • Processing procurement data accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensuring data integrity by reviewing and validating procurement data.
  • Supporting the procurement team with data-driven insights and reporting.
  • Maintaining procurement databases, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Working closely with other departments to align procurement strategies.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of procurement policies.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department.
  • Adhering to data protection regulations and company policies.

Profile

A successful Procurement Data Processor should have:

  • A minimum of three years' procurement experience in recycling, manufacturing, or engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inputting large data sets into MRP systems
  • Strong understanding of stock inventory systems and procurement processes
  • Essential knowledge of mechanical and electrical parts
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A CIPS qualification is desirable but not essential
