Purchasing Administrator

Mid Kent

Mon – Friday – 37.5hrs

Hybrid working following probationary period

Pearson Whiffin are delighted to be representing a sought-after employer in the Mid Kent area in their search for a Purchasing Administrator.

This entry level role will include:

  • Supporting all supply chain functions providing comprehensive and proactive administrative support
  • Extensive, accurate data and documentation management
  • Daily use of Excel to manage, manipulate and report on data
  • Supporting with the management of suppliers, building great relationships
  • Supporting with pricing and costing reports
  • Communicating collaboratively with all stakeholders
  • Involvement with supplier audits and performance monitoring, including attending meetings on a monthly basis
  • Any other duties as required

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (Business, Supply Chain Management etc.)
  • Want to develop your career in Purchasing, Procurement and Supply Chain
  • Be able to use Excel to at least an intermediate level (creating formulas, using V-Look Up functions, creating tables and graphs)
  • Have an excellent grasp of the English language both written and verbal
  • Have excellent numeracy skills and enjoy working with numbers
  • Be sharp and switched on with a good commercial acumen
  • Have some administrative experience, ideally with some exposure to Purchasing
