Contract: Full-time, 5 days out of 7 (no split shifts)

We are looking for a passionate and independent Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team based at a historic landmark near Maidstone.

The menus proudly showcase the incredible range of seasonal, locally sourced produce from Kent's rich countryside and coastline. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dining experience that reflects the very best of British food culture in a truly unforgettable setting.

The Role:

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day operations, leading and motivating the front-of-house team.

  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service, food quality, and cleanliness.

  • Assist in developing and delivering menus that celebrate Kent's local produce.

  • Help manage stock, staff rotas, and training.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and licensing regulations.

About You:

  • Experience in a similar supervisory or assistant manager role in hospitality.

  • A genuine passion for local, seasonal food and excellent customer service.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Organised, hands-on, and able to work independently.

  • A positive attitude with a drive to grow within the business.
