The Role:

You will play a key role in managing client relationships and supporting the delivery of accounts and tax compliance work for a portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses, partnerships, and individuals. You will supervise junior staff, review work, and contribute to the ongoing success of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review accounts for limited companies, partnerships, sole traders, and LLPs
  • Prepare and review corporation tax, partnership tax, and personal tax returns
  • Support and supervise junior team members, reviewing their work and providing guidance
  • Act as a point of contact for client queries, building strong client relationships
  • Assist partners with client meetings and ad hoc advisory work
  • Monitor job budgets and workflow to ensure timely, accurate delivery
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes or add value for clients
  • Contribute to business development through referrals and networking

About You:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with experience in general practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounts and tax compliance
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • Enjoy working collaboratively in a close-knit team
