Job Overview

A leading medical devices company are seeking an experienced and hands-on R&D Test Engineer to join a dynamic research and development team. This role involves conducting experiments, building prototypes, and supporting the development and testing of innovative products. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct experiments and test procedures on prototype and production devices.
  • Build and support test equipment involving mechanical, refrigeration, and electrical components.
  • Use PC-based applications for testing and data analysis.
  • Identify and diagnose problems, implementing effective testing solutions.
  • Analyze technical data, interpret test results, and prepare detailed reports and presentations.
  • Suggest design, testing, and manufacturing improvements based on test findings.
  • Actively participate in group and project meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • BSc in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a laboratory setting with development of test methods.
  • Strong skills in interpreting lab test data.
  • Experience with MS Office and database systems.
  • Familiarity with safe systems of work and laboratory best practices.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of scientific testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting capabilities.
