Customer Operations Supervisor

Salary: Basic up to £32,000 plus Benefits

Location: Malton, North Yorkshire

Our client is currently recruiting for a Customer Operations Supervisor to work at one of their client sites in Malton, North Yorkshire. Working within the Engineering department, you will be responsible for when the Customer Operations Manager is offsite, to oversee team operation on-site to ensure consistent service requirements are met for the customer as well as complete other customer operations duties. You will be responsible for things like speaking with suppliers, placing orders within the necessary timeframe, assisting stores colleagues, providing high levels of customer service, ordering stock and some manual handling of stock will be required.

Skills required for an Customer Operations Supervisor:

  • Ideally have either supervisory or management experience.
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced and high-pressurised environment.
  • Competent in basic IT Skills – monitoring e-mails, data entry, using stock ordering systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in storerooms or stores activities would be advantageous due to the familiarity of the role.
  • Be able to meet some physical demands of the job as my client does manage stores rooms, spare parts and engineering components.
  • Prior experience in procurement or office environments, more so in engineering, supply chain, MRO environments would be beneficial but not necessary.
  • Working Monday – Friday, core office hours with some flexibility.
