CUSTOMER OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Customer Operations Supervisor to work for a leading Specialised Industrial Service Provider based in Malton.

ROLE: Customer Operations Supervisor

PAY RATE: between 13.46/hr - 15.38/hr, between 28,000 - 32,000 per annum

JOB TYPE: temp to perm

LOCATION: Malton (YO17)

HOURS: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm, 40 hours per week, 30 min break

THE ROLE:

  • When Customer Operations Manager is off-site, oversee team operation on-site in their absence to ensure consistent service requirements are met for the customer, additional duties will be addressed with the manager during assignment.
  • Use order book to expedite orders and speak to suppliers on a daily basis to ensure orders are on schedule.
  • Placing orders within necessary timeframes, ensuring best lead time, price and delivery times.
  • Assist stores colleagues with booking in goods/deliveries, correctly allocating stock into the storeroom.
  • Providing excellent customer service and assistance to the engineers on-site who attend the office.
  • Completing necessary steps to enable any non-stocked parts to be sourced, assessing price, lead time and delivery speed and uploaded to the stock systems.
  • Ordering stock required from suppliers.
  • Complete manual handling of stock from deliveries to storeroom including heavier items such as motors, pumps, gas bottles.



THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

  • Competent in basic IT Skills - monitoring emails, data entry, using the stock ordering systems.
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and comfortable in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in storerooms /stores activities desirable but not essential, preferred for familiarity with the working environment.
  • Be able to meet the physical demands of the manual handling required in the role.
  • Prior experience in procurement or office environments, more so in an engineering, supply chain, MRO environment highly beneficial.
  • Supervisory experience is beneficial.
  • Please be aware that the Sofina site is a slaughterhouse with butchery completed onsite.
