Job Title: Finance Administrator (Temporary)

Contract Duration: 2-3 Months
Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour - £13.00 per hour
Working Hours: 3 Days per Week, 24 Hours per Week
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Administrator to support our client's finance team on a temporary basis for 2-3 months. This role will involve processing invoices, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with other finance-related administrative tasks. The position is part-time, requiring 24 hours per week across 3 days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Process incoming invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
- Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate financial ledgers and assist with reconciling accounts as needed.
- Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting systems, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- General Finance Administration: Support with general finance tasks, including filing, preparing reports, and liaising with internal departments.
- Reporting: Assist with monthly financial reporting and assist in tracking financial transactions and expenses.
- Ad-Hoc Tasks: Provide general administrative support to the finance team as required, such as helping with queries and administrative tasks.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience in finance administration, accounts payable, or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of invoicing, ledgers, and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ideally some experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other teams.
- Previous experience working in a finance or accounts department is preferred but not essential.
