As aCleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across accommodation and shared spaces while helping to ensure student welfare.

You will be responsible for:

  • Keeping bedrooms, corridors, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas clean and presentable.
  • Following cleaning schedules and completing routine checklists.
  • Ensuring the laundry room remains clean, tidy and secure.
  • Maintaining accurate sign-in/out records and always wearing the required uniform AND ID badge.
  • Managing room turnovers and preparing spaces as needed during student intake or departure periods.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for students with queries, concerns, or complaints.
  • Reporting any signs of illness, distress, or potential safeguarding issues.

What we are looking for:

  • Previously worked as a Cleaner, Cleaning Operative, School Cleaner, Facilities Cleaner, Cleaning Assistant, Housekeeper or in a similar role.
  • Ideally have experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or laundry services within a residential or institutional setting
  • An understanding of basic health & safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and complete routine forms.
