We are partnering with a high-growth business in Manchester city centre to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant.
This role is suitable for a part qualified assistant accountant with a desire to expand their experience in finance operations and management accounting.
Key responsibilities include assisting with monthly management accounts, payment runs, bank reconciliations, and payroll tasks.
Candidates should have previous finance experience, strong Excel skills, and be studying towards an accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or AAT.
The position offers a salary of up to £40k depending on experience, along with study support and flexible hybrid working options.

Assist with monthly management accounts: P&L reviews, journal postings (accruals, prepayments), and balance sheet reconciliations.
Payment runs and employee expenses
Bank reconciliations and supplier invoices
Payroll & VAT

Person

Studying towards an accounting qualification – ACCA/ACA/CIMA/AAT
Previous experience gained within finance
Good understanding of reconciliation processes and financial controls
Strong excel skills
Experience using Xero or similar software
