LHH is proud to be working with a leading independent firm based in Manchester, currently seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join their expanding team. This is a great opportunity to take the lead on audits, work with a broad and varied client base, and take the next step in your professional journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage audits from planning to completion, coordinating with the Responsible Individual and leading on-site teams.
  • Allocate tasks, manage timelines, and ensure audit quality aligns with standards and firm procedures.
  • Identify risks, resolve issues proactively, and ensure clear documentation of audit findings.
  • Review and support the work of junior team members, providing guidance and oversight.
  • Prepare and collate financial statements and ensure all review points and audit files are completed accurately.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure GDPR compliance across the audit team.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent) or working towards it.
  • Proficient in audit, accounting, and tax software.
  • Full, clean driver's license.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and teams.
