Description

As the Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for;

  • Assisting in the delivery of the Internal Audit plan,
  • Conducting straightforward audit assignments autonomously or collaborates with senior staff members on more demanding assignments, to ensure that they are delivered to time and cost.
  • Deploys inter-personal and communication skills to deal effectively with, and build and maintain good relationships with staff at all levels of seniority.
  • Acquires and maintains a detailed knowledge of the operation and administration of the self-audit system to ensure the system is maintained and developed, thereby ensuring that company risks are properly monitored and controlled.
  • With appropriate guidance and support, plans, controls, and records audit work effectively in order to obtain sufficient, relevant, and reliable evidence to substantiate audit conclusions.

Profile

The successful Internal Auditor should have;

  • Willingness to study for and acquire a recognised professional qualification equivalent to degree level (ie, Chartered Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, CMIIA, CIA) with a proven ability to succeed in completing structured study programmes.
  • Evidence of achievement, either in an audit or assurance role, with a proven track record of achievement in Internal audit or similar with a minimum of three years' experience.
  • Evidence of an ability to draw appropriate conclusions from evidence.
  • Evidence of an understanding of the business, regulatory and legal environment
  • Resilient and determined outlook, with evidence of an ability to work autonomously to achieve objectives.

Job Offer
