We're working with a dynamic and growing business based in Didsbury, seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Ledger Accountant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of key AP and AR ledger responsibilities in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Description
The Ledger Accountant role is Hybrid working 3 days in Didsbury office/2 remote
- The key responsibilities of a Ledger Accountant will include:
- Managing global accounts payable and receivable ledgers end to end.
- Ensuring customers are settling to terms by taking responsibility for chasing and escalations.
- Being a key contributor in driving initiatives that improve debtor days and working capital management in general.
- Creating and presenting insightful reports including working capital analysis.
- Preparation of monthly expenditure vs. budget reviews to ensure correct cost allocation.
- Assisting the management accounting team with monthly cash flow planning & forecasting.
- Assisting with multicurrency bank reconciliations and month end closing procedures
Profile
In order to apply for the role you should:
- Be able to commute 3 days per week to Didsbury office
- Have Proven experience managing AP / AR processes end to end dealing with multicurrency transactions
- Have a Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Have Excellent attention to detail and analytically minded
- Be Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software ideally D365
- Be Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- AAT qualification (or working towards) desirable but not essential
Job Offer
- 30,000 - 40,000 per annum based on experience + bonus
