- Production of the monthly Management Accounts including group consolidation.
- Managing two team members and ensuring the month end close is completed according to schedule and deadlines.
- Monthly reconciliations, journals and P&L management.
- Preparation of the board packs with the required reporting and analysis.
- Providing financial support to the various department leads including P&L analysis.
- Responsible for the annual budget prep and reforecasting where required.
- VAT returns completed on schedule.
- Involvement in refinancing and acquisition activities.
- Preparation of annual audit and tax information.
- Preparation of specific and ad-hoc reporting for internal and external stakeholders and investors.
- Other ad hoc duties on request.
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant role in a commercial setting.
- Nearly or newly ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified.
- Experience managing a team would be beneficial.
- Experience with Sage 200 (beneficial) and Advanced Excel skills (essential).
- Good commercial awareness and able to influence at all levels.
- Hands on with experience in all elements of the role.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise work and meet deadlines
