This role will play a proven role in streamlining & maintain product delivery & service efficiency for a large installation firm in the NW. You will be wholly involved in product inspection, sales order quote generation, order processing, refund/reimbursements, product process management, & technical order amending.

We are currently representing a well-established and highly regarded electrical supplier that manufactures and distributes a broad range of facilities-related products. Their core customer base includes major retail groups and businesses within the general construction sector. Known for their dependable service and capacity to handle high-volume orders, they provide tailored distribution solutions that meet the operational demands of both commercial and industrial clients.

Description

Key responsibilities consist of:

  • Process customer orders accurately and ensure timely fulfilment
  • Handle inquiries, provide product information, and resolve customer issues
  • Order fault testing & production oversight
  • Maintain accurate project documentation
  • Reviewing product & project technical drawings
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and provide timely feedback to ensure the highest level of service
  • Work with suppliers and shipping teams to track and manage deliveries
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales reports, and order details in CRM systems
  • Support account managers with administrative tasks and follow-ups
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to monitor inventory levels
  • Assist in processing invoices and verifying payment details
  • Work closely with the sales team to manage daily tasks, ensuring all systems are updated, and support the seamless running of the sales operations
  • Identify opportunities to streamline sales operations and improve efficiency

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience QA/Sales support functions within similar trades, and/or electrical wholesale
  • Experience in product fault testing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist customers and support the sales team
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business software
  • Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, or inventory management is a plus
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and documentation
