Field Service Engineer – Finishing Equipment

We’re working with a market leading, innovative solutions business in the labels and packaging sector to assist them in their search for a Field Service Engineer to join their growing technical team.

Specialising in machinery used in the post-printing process, particularly within labels and flexible packaging, you’ll work on a remote basis based from your home travel is expected across the UK and occasionally overseas. You’ll be on the road extensively, so there is a requirement to work away when needed - you must be comfortable in staying away from home sometimes for continuous stints.
The Role
This hybrid position combines field-based work with site support and technical demonstrations. You’ll:
- Deliver installation, maintenance, and technical support for high-performance machinery
- Travel across the UK, Europe and occasionally further afield
- Train customers on machine operation and troubleshooting
- Represent the brand as a trusted technical advisor
The Candidate
You’re an excellent communicator with a passion for engineering and problem-solving.
- Experience in the print, packaging, or machinery servicing sectors
- Ability to read and understand mechanical/electrical schematics
- A flexible attitude to travel and a self-motivated mindset
- Customer-first focus and strong organisational skills
