The CompanyA high-impact digital media group is hiring a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between commercial, product, and data teams. This business is at the forefront of digital transformation across broadcasting, publishing, and digital advertising in multiple European markets. As a Business Analyst, you'll play a critical role in aligning analytics-driven decisions with wider business priorities.
The RoleAs a Business Analyst, you'll collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements, build reporting dashboards, and support data-led decisions across audience engagement, content monetisation, and strategic planning. You'll work closely with stakeholders across multiple teams, including data, engineering, marketing, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical briefs for analysts and engineers.
- Support the creation and evolution of dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and performance trends.
- Collaborate with data engineers and product owners to ensure clean data pipelines and reliable reporting structures.
- Contribute to A/B testing frameworks, competition campaign evaluations, and monetisation strategies.
- Facilitate regular feedback loops across departments to ensure data and insight are driving the right outcomes.
- Support documentation of business rules, data definitions, and processes to improve visibility and alignment.
- Experience working with commercial, digital, or product data in an analyst or business-facing role.
- Confident in extracting and interpreting data using SQL and visualisation tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills - able to translate technical detail into actionable recommendations.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
- Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of KPIs and operational metrics.
- Experience in media, audio, or digital publishing.
- Understanding of experimentation, campaign reporting, or CRM tools like Braze or HubSpot.
- Background in agile project delivery or business process mapping.
