Do you have sales experience in the poultry or meat processing industry?

Are you looking for the opportunity to join a marketing leading processing equipment distributor, operating nationwide and working with exciting clients?

This company, established for over 65 years, starting in the Netherlands and quickly growing into a global force, revolutionising the poultry processing industry. They manufacture, install and service a range of processing equipment to support customers throughout the industry.

On offer is the chance to become a fundamental asset to the sales team. You will be responsible for researching the consumer market and identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with long standing clients. You will play a key part in developing and maintaining relationships within the industry, with commercial partners and industry organisations across the UK.

Due to impressive growth, they are now looking to add to their sales team to keep up with the increased demand, making this a great time to join the business and grow with it.

The Role:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Generate new business sales across the UK
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. Maintain current client relationships and identify areas for potential new clients and business opportunities within the poultry industry
  • Lead the activity to generate new business sales, making initial contact, establishing relationships and developing the business
  • Negotiate and close commercial deals with large customers
  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements through undertaking market research
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, revenue and monitor financial performance

The Person:

  • Background in the poultry or meat processing industry is vital
  • Full UK driving licence and car
