Sales & Business Development Manager

A leading and rapidly growing operator in the Aparthotel sector is currently seeking a Senior Sales & Business Development Manager to join their Manchester property.

With a strong presence across key European cities and continued expansion into new markets, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic brand during a period of significant growth.

This role is ideal for an experienced, driven individual with a strong understanding of the Manchester corporate and group travel market, and a proven track record in Hotel, Aparthotel or Property Sales. Extensive local knowledge is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive local and national sales initiatives, including networking, account management, and attending trade shows
  • Identify and secure new corporate accounts, while growing and maintaining existing relationships
  • Promote the brand and its portfolio through targeted sales and marketing activities
  • Manage enquiries across corporate, group and extended stay segments, ensuring timely and competitive quoting
  • Maintain accurate sales records and activity reports
  • Support the use and administration of sales and property management systems (e.g. Opera, Salesforce, SiteMinder)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment across commercial and operational strategies

Candidate Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in Hotel/Aparthotel/Property Sales, Reservations, or Account Management
  • Strong network and deep understanding of the Manchester and wider UK corporate travel market
  • Proven ability to generate new business and manage long-term client relationships
  • Knowledge of platforms such as Salesforce, Opera, IDEAS, Agency360, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Understanding of local market trends, GDS knowledge preferred
  • Commercially focused with a proactive and data-driven approach
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes as needed
