Senior Sales Rep - Chemistry InstrumentationAre you an experienced chemistry instrumentation sales professional based in the North of England? Are you looking for a new challenge?

A growing, innovative organisation offers a wide range of chemistry tools, including measurement instruments used in academic and industrial laboratories, are currently looking to hire a Senior Salesperson who will be responsible for driving sales for the company’s product portfolio across the North of England.

With a global reach supported by subsidiaries and distributors, the company emphasises sustainability and innovation with recent expansions to its facilities and a renewed commitment to cutting-edge R&D.

As this is a Senior Sales position, we are looking to speak with motivated, experienced candidates who have 3+ field sales experience who are also keen on future career progression. Once established in the role, there will be opportunities for team leadership and overseas distributor management available as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with academic institutions, research laboratories, and industrial customers.

  • Identify new business opportunities and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A scientific academic background (e.g., degree in Chemistry, Physics, or related field)
  • Proven track record in technical sales, ideally within the field of chemistry or scientific instrumentation
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-oriented mindset with excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to travel within the North of England
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
