We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing leader to join a well-established international manufacturing company, based in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies, ideally in an industrial / manufacturing setting.

Description

The responsibilities for the Marketing Director - B2B manufacturing role will include:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to meet company objectives
  • Driving the production of valuable and engaging B2B content for group websites, to generate high quality leads
  • Oversee all marketing activities and ensure they align with the company's goals.
  • Manage group marketing budget.
  • Lead, manage and motivate the marketing team to deliver outstanding results
  • Measure and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns
  • Establish and maintain communication lines with national, and international stakeholders.
  • Identify new marketing opportunities to increase company visibility
  • Engage with new marketing technology, to ensure the organisation leads from the front on modern marketing methodologies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and external agencies.

Profile

For Marketing Director - B2B manufacturing role, applicants should have:

  • Minimum 5+ years experience in a Marketing leadership role, managing teams of 5+ direct reports.
  • B2B Marketing experience - ideally in a similar setting such as manufacturing, engineering, technology.
  • Large budget management experience - ideally managed budgets £2M+ annually.
  • International commercial experience - ideally experience working in companies that span multiple continents, although minimal international experience will be considered.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to drive high performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing strategies and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Exceptional project management and organisational skills
