Job role overview

As a member of a busy Finance team, you will follow agreed processes to deliver a high level of client service to our Insurance Broker business. Working collaboratively with others in the team and across the business, you will provide support and guidance as required, always putting the interests of the customer at the forefront of everything you do.

Key responsibilities

1.Maintain the client and insurer relationship in a courteous and efficient manner.

2.Process all client account receipts and balances.

  1. Reconciliation and allocation of Property portfolios.
  2. Manage all aspects of credit control, always exercising a high degree of diplomacy.
  3. Initiation, maintenance, and renewal of client loan applications
  4. Provide support to other internal customers, including Senior and Middle Management team.

7.Balance all relevant month end reports, reconciling any discrepancies as appropriate.

8.Reconciliation of bank statements.

9.General administration duties in accordance with the Company Operating Procedures Manuals including:

  • Maintenance of computer records
  • Data Input
  • Diary Management
  • Handling and resolution of internal and external queries
  1. Adherence to all company rules.
  2. Comply with the Company Procedures Manuals.

Any other additional duties.

Keys skill / requirements

  1. 2 to 5 years finance \ transactional experience is essential.
  2. Experience working within an insurance broking or similarly regulated environment.
  3. A good team player, but able to work independently when required.
  4. Conscientious and self-motivated, with an excellent eye for detail.
  5. GCSE Maths and English
