Reeson Education is seeking a committed and versatile Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the M41 area of Urmston. This long-term, full-time Teaching Assistant role is available to start immediately and offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working flexibly across year groups and supporting children of varying needs and abilities.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils, helping to deliver high-quality learning support in and out of the classroom. This Teaching Assistant role will involve a combination of general classroom assistance, group work, and targeted one-to-one support with pupils who require additional help. From September, the Teaching Assistant may have the opportunity to take on more specialised responsibilities depending on their experience and the needs of the school.

Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:* Provide adaptable support across KS1 and KS2 classrooms* Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions where needed* Help prepare resources and support differentiated tasks* Assist in managing behaviour and transitions throughout the school day* Collaborate with teaching staff, SEND specialists, and external professionals* Promote engagement, independence, and a supportive learning environment

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:* Be reliable, enthusiastic, and flexible in their approach* Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary or SEND setting* Be confident supporting pupils with a range of mild to moderate additional needs* Work well both independently and as part of a team* Show genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children

Teaching Assistant Requirements:* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)* Legal right to work in the UK* Relevant experience and recent references from education roles* Strong communication skills and safeguarding awareness
