Tradewind are seeking an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a thriving team at a school in the diverse area of Levenshulme. In this Early Years Teaching Assistant role, your main responsibility will be to support a key group of 6 children. You will be responsible for the safety and well-being of the children within your key group, as well as their educational progression whilst following the EYFS framework. This post is required from September 2025, and you will be required for a full academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with other members of staff within a large open plan nursery setting
  • Monitor and record children's progress and effectively communicate with parents
  • supporting children's learning and development through play

Essential requirements:

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

  • Have a Level 2/3 Early Years Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Have previous experience of working within a Early Years setting
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
  • Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained.
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
