We've got a brilliant opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to work in a critical environment based in Manchester, you'll be joining a well experienced maintenance team, a market leading building service provider, gain exposure to a high end site and receive all the training to progress further in your career!As the Electrical Engineer, you will be tasked with trouble shooting / fault finding on electrical systems, carry out planned preventive and reactive maintenance, ensure all critical equipment is working efficiently, update site logbooks, assist in general building maintenance tasks and report into the Site Manager.To be successful in the Electrical Engineer role, you must be qualified in electrical installations / engineering (C&G/EAL/NVQ or equivalent), at least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance as an Electrical Engineer and live within commutable distance to the property.Electrical Engineer Duties:
- PPMs & Reactive maintenance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, Pumps, BMS Operation
- Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
- Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
- Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
- Completing logbooks and RAMS
- Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.
Electrical Engineer Requirements:
- Fully qualified in electrical installations / engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent / higher)
- At least 3 years experience as an Electrical Engineer within commercial maintenance
- Live within commutable distance to site
- Great understanding of commercial M&E systems.
- Experience in a critical environment would be desirable, not essential
Salary and Package:
- £42,000 - £45,000 per annum
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
