The Role

We’re looking for a Group Administrative & Personal Assistant to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This is a varied role supporting senior leadership, coordinating key meetings and events, and ensuring smooth operations across the business. If you're someone who enjoys being the go-to person and keeping things running seamlessly behind the scenes, this could be the perfect fit.

In this role, you will play a central role in supporting the executive team and wider business. From planning events and meetings to managing correspondence and internal communications, you'll help ensure everything stays on track. This role demands a proactive, professional, and friendly individual who can work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate board meetings, including room setup, catering, materials, and guest welcome
  • Organise internal and external meetings with customers, investors, and shareholders
  • Manage enquiries through the PLC email inbox and direct incoming calls
  • Arrange company events such as the Christmas party, charity days, and awareness campaigns
  • Book travel and hotels, handle confidential documents, and manage expenses
  • Maintain office supplies and branded materials (notepads, mugs, pens)
  • Work with HR to send staff communications and internal updates
  • Order gifts and cards for birthdays and milestones
  • Support with editing PDFs, updating presentations, and internal documents
  • Take notes during meetings as required
