An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Assistant to join a well-established, city-led international law firm in their Manchester office. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in a professional services environment, offering hands-on experience and full administrative support to partners, fee earners, and PAs.

The RoleAs a Team Assistant, you’ll play a key part in the smooth day-to-day running of the firm, supporting legal teams and wider business functions. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing general admin support to partners, fee earners, and PAs

  • Opening, closing, and maintaining client files

  • Supporting internal and external seminars

  • Producing, engrossing, and collating legal documents

  • Using the Land Registry Portal and ordering official documents

  • Managing file archiving and retrieval

  • Performing scanning, photocopying, and printing tasks

  • Handling incoming and outgoing post

  • Assisting with reception cover and providing support across departments when needed

We are looking for:

  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Well-organised with strong attention to detail

  • Confident in written and verbal communication

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office

  • Prior admin experience is desirable, but not essential
