Junior NPD Technologist

Location: Manchester (On-Site Role )

Salary: £30k

Jellyfish Recruitment are excited to be working with a leading beverage & food manufacturer in Manchester, who are now looking for a New Product Development Technologist to join their innovative team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a proven interest in product development, excited by the chance to work on exciting new beverage & food concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the end-to-end NPD process from concept to launch.
  • Develop & refine formulations, ensuring quality & compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct taste panels, ingredient trials & production/sensory trials.
  • Work closely with suppliers, production & marketing teams.
  • Analyse market trends & consumer insights to drive innovation.

About You:

  • 2+ years of NPD experience in the food/beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ingredient functionality, flavour development & formulation.
  • Excellent problem-solving & communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail & strong mathematical skills for formulation accuracy.
