Bridging Underwriter Role Overview:
It is seeking a highly skilled Senior Bridging Underwriter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and underwriting bridging loan applications, ensuring a thorough evaluation of risk and adherence to company policies. Your expertise will help drive our lending strategy and enhance our client relationships.
Bridging Underwriter Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and underwrite bridging loan applications, including property valuation and borrower profiles.
- Conduct thorough due diligence and risk analysis on potential lending opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to streamline the underwriting process.
- Provide guidance and support to junior underwriters and assist in their development.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and regulatory changes.
- Prepare detailed underwriting reports and present findings to senior management.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers and clients to facilitate smooth transactions.
Bridging Underwriter Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bridging underwriter
- Strong understanding of property valuation, lending criteria, and risk assessment.
