Estimator

My client is a national provider of high-quality refurbishment and fit-out projects across a diverse range of sectors, including retail, residential, leisure, education, and healthcare. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional results for our clients, with the majority of our projects valued between £50,000 and £1 million+ 

The Role:

• As our Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects by accurately pricing and managing tender submissions. You will be responsible for:
• Accurately estimating costs for refurbishment and fit-out projects.
• Preparing detailed and competitive tender submissions.
• Bidding for frameworks, including writing comprehensive Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs).
• Delivering compelling presentations to potential clients.
• Maintaining and updating cost databases and pricing schedules.
• Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes.
• Conducting site surveys and analysing project specifications.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, ideally within refurbishment and fit-out projects.
• Experience bidding for frameworks, including writing PQQs and delivering presentations.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A valid UK driving license.
• A strong understanding of construction processes and materials.
• A pre-existing network of industry contacts is a bonus.
