My client is a national provider of high-quality refurbishment and fit-out projects across a diverse range of sectors, including retail, residential, leisure, education, and healthcare. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional results for our clients, with the majority of our projects valued between £50,000 and £1 million+Â
The Role:
- As our Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects by accurately pricing and managing tender submissions. You will be responsible for:
- Accurately estimating costs for refurbishment and fit-out projects.
- Preparing detailed and competitive tender submissions.
- Bidding for frameworks, including writing comprehensive Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs).
- Delivering compelling presentations to potential clients.
- Maintaining and updating cost databases and pricing schedules.
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes.
- Conducting site surveys and analysing project specifications.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, ideally within refurbishment and fit-out projects.
- Experience bidding for frameworks, including writing PQQs and delivering presentations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A valid UK driving license.
- A strong understanding of construction processes and materials.
- A pre-existing network of industry contacts is a bonus.
