A new opportunity has opened in Manchester for an experienced Geoenvironmental Manager to join a medium-sized consultancy specialising in infrastructure projects. Role Responsibilities

As a Geoenvironmental Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering Phase 1 and Phase 2 site investigations, overseeing contaminated land risk assessments and remediation strategies, designing and technically reviewing ground investigations, and managing projects from tender stage through to completion. The role will involve regular client liaison, supervision of site works including soil and groundwater sampling, mentoring and managing junior staff, and working closely with senior and principal engineers to support the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects.

Requirements

To be considered for the Geoenvironmental Manager role, you should have:

  • A degree in geology, environmental science, geoenvironmental engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong experience in geoenvironmental and contaminated land report writing
  • Proven experience managing projects and mentoring staff
  • Live within a commutable distance of the Manchester office
  • A full UK driving licence
