Small Works Manager

Overview
The client is seeking a Small Works Manager to deliver minor FM projects, building fabric repairs, and asset replacement works across a large commercial building. The role supports the hard FM service by coordinating planned and reactive small works safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver FM small works from scope to completion.

  • Coordinate contractors and liaise with FM/engineering teams.

  • Plan works to minimise disruption in an occupied building.

  • Ensure compliance with FM standards, H&S, CDM, and permit procedures.

  • Manage budgets, variations, and project records.

  • Provide clear updates to the FM manager and onsite stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience delivering FM small works or minor projects in commercial buildings.

  • Understanding of hard FM, building fabric, or basic M&E systems.

  • Strong contractor and stakeholder management skills.

  • Knowledge of H&S requirements and RAMS.

  • SMSTS/IOSH/NEBOSH desirable.
