About the Role:

Imperium Financial Recruitment is proud to be exclusively representing a well-established and fast-paced Insolvency business based in the heart of Manchester City Centre. Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resources Manager to join their growing team.

This is a standalone role and an excellent opportunity for a HR professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, commercially focused environment. The ideal candidate will bring solid knowledge of Employment Law and a broad generalist HR skillset to support the business across all HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of Employment Law, ensuring compliance with current legislation

  • Manage end-to-end HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and training & development

  • Support and guide managers on disciplinary and grievance issues

  • Oversee HR policies and procedures, updating them as needed to reflect legislative or operational changes

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation

  • Promote a positive and engaging workplace culture

  • Advise on workforce planning and support strategic HR initiatives

  • Lead and manage HR projects as required by the business

Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience as a HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor within a professional services or fast-paced environment

  • Strong working knowledge of UK Employment Law

  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above preferred)

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Able to work autonomously and handle sensitive issues with discretion

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
