A market-leading planning consultancy is searching for a professional HR Manager to join its team in Manchester. As the business embraces flexibility, you will be able to work from home 1-2 days per week.

You will take full responsibility for developing and implementing the people strategy and vision for the organisation. You will manage employee relations, recruitment processes and manage 1 employee, therefore prior line management experience is a key requirement. Your remit will also include reward and recognition, policy and compliance, appraisals, performance management and championing policy formulation with respect to diversity and inclusion.

In order to be suitable for this role, you will be a capable HR Manager who has experience of working both strategically and in a hands-on capacity to support the business’ leadership, direction setting and employee support and engagement. You will be an articulate HR professional, with professional services experience, who holds strong knowledge of current employment law and can provide HR generalist support across the organisation. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and have proven experience across the full HR service. Holding a CIPD qualification is advantageous to your application.
